The company Argyle Park Taxis Limited was formed in 2001 when two of Wirral's longest established private hire companies merged.  Although Argyle Park itself is a relatively new company, the previous two firms were both in existence over 35 years prior to the merger.

About Our Fleet and Drivers

We operate a large, mixed fleet of vehicles from 4 to 8 seats.  This fleet includes 4 seater saloons, estates and people carriers (MPV's) as well as Hackney Carriages for 5 to 8 people.    We also offer specialist disabled access for wheelchair users and low loading ramps on some vehicles if required.

All our vehicles are fully insured and are licensed for hire by Wirral Borough Council.  All drivers are also licensed as either private hire or hackney carriage drivers by Wirral Borough Council and undergo a strict police check as part of this process.  When you travel in our vehicles you can be assured that you are in the best of care.

And of course all these vehicles are available for airport runs and day trips, or just a trip around the corner!

Most Credit and Debit Cards Now Accepted

It happens to us all from time to time.  We need to get somewhere quick and order a taxi, only to realise we do not have the cash to pay for the journey.

At Argyle Park this need not be a problem any longer as we now accept most major debit and credit cards.

Journeys can now also be pre-booked and paid for in advance.
