About us

The company Argyle Park Taxis Limited was formed in 2001 when two of Wirral's longest established private hire companies merged.  Although Argyle Park itself is a relatively new company, the previous two firms were both in existence over 35 years prior to the merger.

Our Fleet

Our fleet of vehicles consists of 4 seater saloon cars, 5-6 seat Hackney Carriages, and 6,7 or 8 seater MPV's.
These vehicles are available for airport runs and day trips or just a trip around the corner! 

Accounts

Looking to open an account look no further, we carry out contract work for most of Wirral's largest companies and can provide reference's. Ring Phil on 0151 201 8878 . All contract work is carried on a priority basis.

Global Positioning by Satellite systems

All our vehicles are fitted with Global Positioning by Satellite systems [GPS] with jobs allocated to each car by computer.  All of our drivers are police checked and licensed by Wirral Borough Council and are carefully selected by us to ensure a safe, courteous and professional service, also if the customer wishes, our computers will ring you back on your telephone the minute the vehicles arrives to pick you up.

I.V.R. (integrated voice recognition)

We are also proud to announce that we are the first company on the wirral to introduce automated booking, I.V.R. (integrated voice recognition). When prompted press 1 to book a taxi ASAP from your address or zero to speak to an operator. Since installing  I.V.R. in August 2006 30% of  bookings are carried out using this method. If you want this service ask the operator or driver for details.
